Minister of Finance
Ahmed Kouchouk is Egypt's Minister of Finance, with over 25 years of experience in economic and financial policy. He previously served as Deputy Minister of Finance, where he led key reforms and negotiations with the IMF. Kouchouk also worked as a senior economist at the World Bank and as Egypt’s non-resident executive director at the Asian International Infrastructure Bank. He oversees fiscal policy, debt management, and Egypt’s annual economic dialogue with the EU.
